Morgan's Manhunt
The man behind Super Size Me has set his sights on the leader of al-Qaeda in his second feature film.
Where in the World Is Osama bin Laden? comes four years after the release of director Morgan Spurlock's Oscar-nominated documentary in which he ate nothing but McDonald's food for 30 days.
Spurlock said of his latest offering: "Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden is about me going out to look for the most wanted man on the planet in an effort to make the world safer for my soon to be born child.
"I think anyone who has a kid or is about to have a child can relate to worrying or being concerned with, 'What kind of world am I bringing a kid into?' I think the film really does answer a lot of those questions."
His search took him to some of the world's most dangerous war zones, pounding the pavement and poking in caves in search of the most wanted man on earth
"At first people were a little, 'What?'. Most people got it. Most people laughed and they said, 'He's not here,' and it would be the opening doorway to a conversation," Spurlock explained.
"There were so many times where we were in the middle of Afghanistan, you would hear a gunshot. You would hear something explode.
"Your heart is in your throat. You're laying there like, 'This is so stupid. What am I doing? My wife is about to have a kid, I'm in a really dangerous place'."
